0

Old Navy has some pretty cute dress styles for women on sale right now, with prices as low as $14! Even better, when you place your order online by 4/21, you’ll receive an extra 30% savings at checkout. This discount is automatically applied to your order, on participating items.

As you can see from the screenshot above, the $14 sale dresses would drop in price to just $9.80 each! On a dress that was normally $29.94, that’s a savings of 67%!

Shipping starts at $7, or free on orders of $50 or more. Head to Old Navy to shop all the dress styles, but remember – the extra 30% savings offer is good through 4/21 only (tomorrow!).

Get a Senior Citizen Lifetime National Parks Pass for $10 (Price Going Up Soon!)

0
0

Did you know that Senior Citizens (age 62 or above) can get a Lifetime National Parks Pass for just $10? This pass provides access to more than 2,000 recreation areas nationwide as well as all 417 National Parks.

To get your pass for this price, you’ll need to purchase it in person at one of these locations. Can’t make it there? You can also buy it online for $20 + $5 shipping.

This has been at the $10 price since 1994, so this isn’t a new deal, but…the AARP is reporting that the price will jump to $80 (!!!) sometime in 2017. However, the USGS website states this: “Please note that we do not expect changes to the Senior pass price or program within the next few months. Further information on changes to the Senior pass price and program will be coming soon.” (So you should have some time if you want to pick it up in person in the next few months.)

Safeway: Earn a $10/$25 Coupon with $50 Gift Card Purchase

0
0

Through April 25th only, Safeway is running a gift card offer. As these have been popular in years past, I thought I’d share this one, too.

Here’s how it works:

  • Purchase $50 or more in select gift cards in a single transaction. (participating gift cards include: American Eagle Outfitters Bed and Breakfast.com, The Children’s Place, Crazy 8, Fandango Groupon, Gymboree, MasterCard – excluding variable load products, Michael’s, Nike, Petco, Regal Entertainment Group and Toys “R” Us)
  • You’ll receive a $10 off your next grocery purchase of $25 or more coupon at checkout.
  • There is a limit of one offer per transaction.
  • The $10 off coupon will expire 7 days from issuance and cannot be used to purchase any gift card or store service.

Incidentally, this same offer is also running at Albertsons (through 4/25; same stipulations as above).

Grocery Outlet Ad: 4/19 – 4/25

Grocery Outlet has released a new ad which runs through Tuesday, April 25th or while supplies last.

If you’re not done so yet, I encourage you to sign up to receive Grocery Outlet’s emails. If you do, you’ll receive a coupon good for $3 off your next purchase of $25 or more.

Here are some highlights from this week’s ad:

Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, 24 ct
$2.99

So Delicious Coco Milk Vanilla Bean, 1 pint
$1.99

Popsicle Mystery Middles, 18 ct
$1.99

Pop Chips Salt & Vinegar
$0.99

Snyder’s Sourdough Nibblers
$0.99

PS Match Chardonnay
$3.99

C&H Golden Brown Sugar, 1 lb
$0.99

A couple things to note about Grocery Outlet, in case you’re unaware. First, they do not accept manufacturer’s coupons (only store coupons, when they offer them). Also, they do not offer rainchecks – even on advertised items. Because of this, I encourage you to shop sooner for best selection.

Head to Grocery Outlet to view the entire ad and to find a location near you!

Amazon: Best Selling Foldable Canvas Laundry Hamper, $11.06!

0
0

Right now, you can snag this #1 best-selling foldable canvas laundry hamper for just $11.06, the lowest price it’s been on Amazon. I personally prefer folding laundry hampers because it’s so satisfying to collapse them when the laundry’s done. (Well, the five minutes of my life it’s done anyways!)

Here are a few features from Amazon about this hamper:

  • 50% canvas, 50% 210D/PU
  • Imported
  • Laundry hamper fits neatly into almost any closet space or bathroom for better organization
  • Made of durable canvas for everyday strength; beige with dark brown trim and interior
  • Open top for easy access; cutout side handles for convenient transport
  • Modern appearance; wipes clean easily; collapses for compact storage
  • Measures 14 by 14 by 23 inches

This hamper has gotten great reviews from customers with an average of 4.5 star rating. I particularly enjoyed this one:

It may be odd to love a hamper, but I love this one. It has a small footprint with sides straight up and down, so it takes a little space. It holds more than I thought it would, which is great.

As always, prices and availability on Amazon can change at any time, and without warning. Snag it now – or hey, snag several now! – while it’s at its lowest price.

Unadvertised Fred Meyer Deals: $0.99/lb Spiral Ham, Beauty Closeout & More!

0
0

While doing some late night shopping at Fred Meyer last night, I stumbled on a few extra unadvertised deals I wanted to share with you.

First, kids’ Seahawks apparel is at 40% off, and this included jerseys! The ones pictured in front were $55, so they’d be $33 with the sale.

I had to check on the ham situation since we’re after Easter and many stores may have a surplus they’d like to clear out. As I suspected, I found prices as low as $0.99/lb for a whole spiral sliced ham.

Speaking of Easter, candy and décor seems to all be at 50% off right now. I found some of it in seasonal and some in front of the cash registers at my store.

Nabisco Snak-Saks are $1 right now. Fred Meyer puts them at this price a few times a year and I like to stock up when they do!

So this is super cool: I noticed these new “Save Even More with Digital Coupons” signs last night. THANK YOU, FRED MEYER. It makes it super helpful to spot the deals! The Imagine broth is $2.50 through Saturday, plus I found a $0.50/1 ecoupon at fredmeyer.com/coupons you can use up to 5Xs in a single transaction. This makes the price $2.

Simple Truth Liquid Dish Soap on sale for $2.50 through Saturday, plus use the $1/1 ecoupon (up to 5xs) and the price drops to just $1.50 – that’s more than half off!

Jason Brand shampoo and conditioner $7.99, plus use the $1/1 ecoupon and you’ll pay $6.99. I found this in the Natural Care section.

Speaking of the Nutrition Center, I found several beauty products on closeout, such as this Yes to Coconut Body Scrub at $3.99 (50% off).

Burt’s Bees Deodorant Spray, $3.99.

Earth Science Shampoo and Conditioner, $4.99. Judging from the stock on these closeout items, the discounts may have been recent. (Meaning, stock was still good on all of them!)

Handi-Foil products are on sale, plus there’s a $0.50/1 ecoupon (I found it under “Paper & Plastics” category). I like having these on hand for freezer meal prep, crafts, and meals that I make for friends.

A couple varieties of Stubb’s Barbecue sauce were on closeout for $2.34.

Also spotted on closeout: softlips cubs for $1.40 – $1.57….

And eos lip care for $1.35. That’s a super good deal for eos! Again, check out the stock at my store!

Planning a trip? See what else is on sale at Fred Meyer through tomorrow (Saturday, April 22nd).

Seattle Tilth Edible Plant Sale: May 6-7

I wanted to give you a big “heads up” about one of my favorite local gardening events: the Tilth Alliance’s Edible Plant Sale! In past years, they’ve had a HUGE selection of edibles including many varieties of herbs, tomatoes, peppers, flowers, veggies, and more. They also have had food trucks, demonstrations, and other local vendors on hand to explore.

The picture above was from a few years ago when I brought my kids to this sale. We got to explore some of the community gardens. Man, my kids were so little! Sigh!

A few additional details about the sale:

  • Shop early for the best selection. They also offer “early bird” access to the sale for $25 or in exchange for volunteering at the event.
  • Plant lists will be available at the website soon. This will help you plan ahead.
  • It may be helpful to bring a small garden wagon or carton for easy shopping.
  • They will accept cash, credit, and even EBT/food stamps.

For additional details about this event and what to expect, check out the Tilth Alliance website.

Capital City FREE Kids Race & Marathon

I wanted to take the time to share about a free event my kids participated in (and loved!) last year: the Capital City Kids Race & Marathon in Olympia, Washington. It’s taking place again this year on Saturday, May 20th at 4pm at Heritage Park and it’s open to kids 8th grade or younger.

While my kids have participated in many kids’ runs, this is among the only ones they’ve done that’s free, and it comes with a ton of perks.

  • My kids got free shirts
  • All photographs taken are free
  • My kids got a free participation ribbon
  • There were lots of free snacks and drinks at the finish

If you have a kid that’s extra motivated, they can log 25 miles prior to the 1.2 mile race and complete the kids’ marathon and earn a special patch.

To have your kids do the marathon, print out the mileage tracker form and have them record their miles.

Even though this is a free event, you do need to register your kids. You can do so at the Capital City Marathon website. You can learn more about this event and the Capital City Marathon over at their website.
